What a badge means
A badge confirms the specific evidence listed on the page. It is never an endorsement, a rating of investment quality or a promise of safety.
Independence
Projects cannot pay for a Verified badge or for removal of a warning. Paid listings or promotions, if ever offered, will always be labelled.
How verification works
1. Evidence submitted
A project or exchange applies and submits evidence: contract ownership, official domains and socials, team identity, audits, licences.
2. Independent checks
Reviewers compare every claim against independent sources — on-chain data, regulator registers, auditor confirmations — never just the applicant's word.
3. Decision and badge
Verified, Caution or not verified, with the specific points we confirmed listed on the page. Reviews are re-checked on a schedule.
4. Ongoing monitoring
Regulator warnings, incidents and community scam reports can move any asset to Caution at any time, with the reason shown.
